Urb-ADAPT workshop held in Dublin (11th December 2018)

To demonstrate the relevance and usefulness of Urb-ADAPT outputs to the development of local scale adaptation plans and to garner stakeholder feedback on the outputs of Urb-ADAPT, a stakeholder workshop was held on December 11th, 2018 at the Axis Arts Centre, Ballymun and included representatives from Ireland’s Climate Action Regional Offices (CAROs), Eastern and Midland Regional Assembly (EMRA), Local Authorities and from the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment (DCCAE). Employing the outputs of Urb-ADAPT, the workshop had three interlinked aims: i) to identify local and regional vulnerabilities and risks associated with key urban climate impacts, now and in the future; ii) to identify a suite of adaptation options (short, medium and long term) and; iii) to assess the relevance of project results to local and regional planners (fit-for-purpose).
